On a related note - does anyone use SpeakEasy, Covad, or another reseller?

Back in the "early days", a friend was a reseller for Covad. He had
complete control over the pipe and could offer IP's, ranges of IP's, or
connect globally routable networks at will.

Nowadays it seems impossible to find a non-telco company with such a
fine-grained control over the pipe.

But I can't get SDSL out where I am anyway, so I guess the point is moot.
:)

Cheers,
-J
