[COLUG] Wireless Router Recommendation?

Howdy Folks,

Does anyone have a recommendation for a wireless router with these 
qualifications?

-Price in the $50-$60 range
-Detachable Antennas
-LONG LIFE

About 4 years ago I got a cheapo $30 SMC router from Micro Center.  It's 
starting to show its age, so I'm in the market for a new one.

Most of the routers that fall under these qualifications have bad 
reviews on Amazon and horror stories of the units lasting 6 months and 
then going through overseas tech support hell to get the unit RMA'd.  
Amazon has some Linksys WRT54GS units for a decent price, but it is 
questionable whether or not it has detatchable antennas.

Detatchable antennas aren't absolutely neccessary if the range is good.  
I'd like something that allows me to connect from the basement, outside 
patio, basement patio, etc.
