The WRT54GL I bought about a year ago has detachable antennas.  Based on the 
Linksys web site, this model hasn't had any hw revs, but sometimes they aren't 
announced, so YMMV.  I'd also recommend replacing the stock firmware with 
dd-wrt as others have suggested.
