I think that cable ISP terms and conditions prohibit you from running a web 
server.  I used to be on insight and they caught me and sent me a warning 
and a threat message.

You can massage sendmail so that it sends your mail via your ISP smtp server.
I've gotten sendmail to use insight's, sbcglobal, and gmail's smtp  servers.
For gmail, I even got it to encrypt the  outgoing mail.  But it wouldn't honor 
my 
masquerade  (or replyto) parms.
