I've been working on other issues lately and didn't have a chance to
work on it again until today. It works now. I added this rule:
iptables -A PREROUTING -t nat -i eth0 -p tcp --dport 80 -j REDIRECT --
to-port 3128
Now Squid is working properly as a filtering transparent proxy. That
was much easier than I expected it to be originally.
