Some time last week, maybe Thursday, sbcgloal changed
there smtp mail servers. I had sendmail setup to masquerade
as planetvince.info so that when I sent out a message,
it would appear to be comming from vince at planetvince.info.

Thursday it started failing most all outgoing mail.

I switched to use smtp.gmail.com for my outgoing mail.
At first, all outgoing mail appeared to be from my gmail account
(EG, it was ignoring sendmail's masquerade).

I found out, that I could add additional replyto accounts
to my gmail account and now they still come from my gmail account,
but have the replyto filled in, so unless you look at the
headers the mail appears to come from vince at planetvince.info

http://planetvince.info/tools
has a few instructions and a sample sendmail config
that seems to be working.
