[COLUG] Linux HA - heartbeat

Here is a small list of problems I've run into:
* "autojoin none" still tries to join other nodes
* "ucast eth0 <hostname>" instead of "bcast eth0" still sending broadcasts
* Adding apiauth statements creates conflict errors with default apiauth
configuration when using crm mode. Thus, how am I suppose to override default
settings then?
* Where is the documentation that tells how to setup access for the GUI tool.
What account is used and where do I set the password. What ports do I need to
open in our firewall? Eventually I figured this out the hard way.
* "mgmnt" keeps failing?
* I've had heartbeat freeze at 100% cpu
* Heartbeat has failed to shutdown and restart often, after waiting 5+
minutes kill -9 was used.
* numerous command line tools do not work, can't connect or auth
* The GUI tool has locked-up several times.
* GUI tool has died on every first successful connection.
* PAM seems to be used, but then it seems not used as the hacluster account
seems hard coded.
* "logfacility local0" still sends logs to /var/log/messages
* The IPaddr resource script needed fixed because it was passing the wrong
options when trying to specify the network interface.
* The example ha.cf (config file) included in the rpm is outdated and does
not include many configuration options.
Thus, my experience so far has been frustrating to say the least. Thou, maybe
I'm still some thing(s) all wrong.
