[COLUG] xorg on ATI 9250 w/s-video

Oh, sorry, I just downloaded the latest greatest fedora 8 iso so it's the 7.2 I believe?  I just remember that last night when I was downloading the ati proprietary version of that one driver, the installer was seeing 1.3 of something, but the package was actually 7.2 because I had to fudge a bit and tell the ATI installer it was 7.1 or it wouldn't do anything.

Try recent Knoppix (5.3.1) and Ubuntu (8.04) live DVDs.

although that might not directly help you with your problem.
