A friend of mine in TX has it and seems to be happy as well.  Plus, there's 
the added benefit that Verizon actually went through the pain of franchising 
as a cable TV service instead of crying to the feds.

I know someone in New Albany that had it for about 2 weeks.  His VPN 
connection to the office would drop every 5-15 minutes, and the system was 
only capable of streaming a single HD television channel for the entire house 
at any one time.

He's a WOW subscriber now.
