I briefly looked into AT&T's new service when they started sending out
mailings advertising it. Once I found out you could only get one HD
channel at a time I quit researching it since it's not uncommon for me
to want to record two HD channels using my TW DVR. I'm also skeptical
of their ability to send all that data (10Mbps internet, one HD or
four SD channels, plus phone usage) over phone lines (at least
reliably), but I don't have any experience with it. Can anyone with
more knowledge on this than I comment on the bandwidth capabilities of
phone wires?

I'm happy they've added more competition to the area and hope their
service improves (i.e., they add fiber later), but I think TW or WOW
are still the way to go if you want both tv and internet. I can't
speak to TW's phone service. I hope the competition encourages TW to
get their switched digital video working well soon and that they add
more HD channels.
