Right.  It's an Asus P5K-E/WiFi.  Franco also bought one, but is
running Solaris on it.

I'm not sure I'd recommend this MB for Linux use.  Ubuntu seems to have
a fair amount of trouble with its ACPI.  (The /proc/acpi entries are
pretty sparse.)  Ubuntu has also always complained about a keyboard
activation failure on resume, although the keyboard's always worked.
Until now, it's never actually failed to resume before.

Is there something I can be doing to try to narrow down the problem?
Right now, it's giving me nothing to work with.  Just the hang.
